Dr. Roger Erdvig has spent his career helping students and educators connect faith and learning. As the Director of the Summit Center for Biblical Worldview Formation, he works with Christian schools, colleges, and churches. His goal is to guide them in shaping a strong biblical worldview in the next generation.
With nearly 15 years of experience as a school leader, Dr. Erdvig has a proven track record in education. He served as head of school at two Christian schools in New York and Delaware. He also earned a doctorate in education from Liberty University and a master’s degree from Regent University. In addition to his academic work, Dr. Erdvig homeschooled his five children for 11 years and founded a leadership coaching organization.
One of his major achievements is developing a K-12 Bible curriculum. This program teaches students how to understand and live out a biblical worldview, even when faced with competing ideas. Dr. Erdvig also focuses on helping teachers connect faith to all subjects, including history and science. He believes education should encourage students to think deeply and apply what they have learned to real life.
Dr. Erdvig’s work is based on research into what shapes strong, faith-driven young adults. He found that students who actively process their experiences through conversations with mentors and peers grow deeper in their worldview. He encourages schools to create safe spaces where students can ask questions, wrestle with challenges, and grow in their faith.
At Summit Ministries, Dr. Erdvig trains teachers and school leaders to build classrooms that align with a biblical worldview. By creating engaging environments and offering tools for personal growth, he helps educators shape students who live out their faith in all areas of life.
